Happy New Year!

I hope everyone welcomed in the new year in splendid fashion. I spent the first hour of the New Year drinking champagne in a friend's swimming pool; I hope it's just a taste of all the fabulous things 2011 has to offer.

This year, I will be returning to full-time, single, saving my hard-earned dollars and planning to be overseas, traipsing the world by 2012. Here's hoping!

Goodbye 2010. You've been nothing short of dramatic, that's for sure.

Happy holidays!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas filled with everything you hoped for. I spent my Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my sister's, and it had everything from family, cooking and copious amounts of red wine.

I'm now in that limbo between Christmas and the New Year. I've grown tired of 2010 and all that it has brought me so I am ready for a fresh start. I'll be welcoming in the new year with my closest friends and for the first time in a few years, I'll be seeing in a new year in my Sydney. With the weather expected to be fine and the alcohol free-flowing, it's going to be a fantastic night. I can feel it in my bones!

I guess it's time to start thinking about those resolutions...

This was my horoscope prediction for the year 2011, found in yesterday's Sunday Magazine. I pay attention to horoscopes because I believe I do possess many of the traits astrologers believe Taureans to have, both bad and good. I feel like this particular prediction was so on the money; I want to tear it out and keep it on my fridge just to remind myself that 2010 is almost over and a new year is coming.

I hope 2011 is my year.
