I have had a very relaxing day.
It's rare for me to get a Friday off (although in one week, I'll be staring down the barrel of two weeks holiday) and so I took advantage of this today by getting all my laundry done and treating myself to a few hours sun-baking, reading and dozing off in the sun on the balcony.
On the downside, my apartment is a little Mother Hubbard-esque at the moment and my stomach is growling, demanding anything other than a pink lady apple but in a few hours, I'm off to dinner with my best friend at the new bistro that's opened up at our local pub.
On that note, I hope your weekend is full of good food, laughs and warm weather. Let's hope this sun sticks around Sydneysiders!
